Ametlla de Mallorca strengthens its positioning in Madrid Fusión and HORECA Balears 2025

    The Regulatory Council has been present at these two important promotion fairs where local products and their applications in the kitchen have been very present

    In both appointments the Regulatory Council has collaborated with ASCAIB chefs in different culinary preparations with the Mallorcan almond IGP as an ingredient

    The Regulatory Council of the Protected Geographical Indication Ametlla de Mallorca has been present at the fairs of Madrid Fusion and HORECA Balears, which have started the gastronomic course 2025, promoting its quality brand and strengthening its positioning. Two very important fairs with thousands of visitors from the world of cooking, catering or catering, where the local product and its applications in the kitchen have been central.

    In both appointments, the Regulatory Council of the IGP Ametlla de Mallorca has collaborated with chefs from ASCAIB (Association of Established Chefs in the Balearic Islands) in different culinary elaborations with the almond of Mallorca IGP as an ingredient, from some more traditional such as cats to new dishes both salty and sweet. Among them the pastry chefs Pep Trias and Ariadna Salvador or the chefs Andrés Benítez, Cati Pons and Miquel Serra.

    We have also collaborated with students of Vocational Training in Cooking and Beverage from various institutes in Mallorca, such as the IES Puig de Sa Font, IES Calvià, IES Felanitx or Juníper Serra, who have also cooked in HORECA different recipes before the attendees with the almond of Mallorca and other local products of the Islands with the seal of quality as protagonists and bringing the kitchen a little closer to the general public.
