They will offer, at a special price and until stocks run out, the vermouth ‘No pas pas pena’ from La Vermutera, accompanied by Oliva de Mallorca broken DOP and almond from Mallorca toasted IGP
Miquel Riera: “It is about integrating these quality products more into our day to day, also when it comes to making ‘the vermouth’, since “we have some of the best category and, in addition, healthy”
The time of the aperitif – or of the vermouth- does not go out of fashion. For this reason, the DOP Oliva de Mallorca, La Vermutera and the IGP Ametlla de Mallorca have come together to offer the most Majorcan version to different establishments in Palma, Pollença and Campos.
The initiative proposes to enjoy a Mallorcan aperitif in which the vermouth No pas pas pena (made with the local Mantonegro grape variety) will be served with toasted almond from Mallorca IGP and broken olive from Mallorca in a dozen establishments that have joined the promotion.
The organisers of the proposal want the consumer to consider Ametlla de Mallorca and Oliva de Mallorca as an option to take into account on any occasion, such as the aperitif time: “It is about integrating these quality products more into our day to day, also when it comes to making ‘the vermouth’, since we have some of the best and, in addition, healthy,” said the president of the Regulatory Council of the IGP Ametlla de Mallorca, Miquel Riera.
The promotion will take place in the following bars:
Palma: Bar España (Raimundo Clar square and Escursac street), Bodega Morey, Cuina Vivant, La Tortilleria, La Paternal, La Bicicleta Roja and Panorama Bar Bazar.
Pollença: Oh, Vermut!
Campos: Sa Ferreria
The campaign has the financial support of the Mallorca Island Council and the Serra de Tramuntana Consortium.
